Summer Camp

Great news Camp Families!  Our Summer Camp Program is open! Our Summer Camp program will run all the way through Friday, August 21st!!

As has been our method, we would like to start slow and work our way up so that we can ensure we are able to meet (and exceed!) all safety guidelines set forth by state and national health agencies. Because of that we will be limiting attendance. Please click here to learn more about our new procedures and protocols.

Camp is for kids ages 4-12 years old and runs 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. Campers will be kept in groups of 10 all day and will have one counselor per group. Groups will be kept separated from each other and any other activities going on in the building.  All the groups will still experience the same fun (and arts & crafts, science experiments, open gym, etc)!  Each week has a new, exciting theme! Learn more about our fun Themed Weeks here.

All rooms, equipment, bathrooms, tables, and chairs will be sanitized before and after every use by the group.  Cleaning and sanitizing will be done by a separate staff member.  We are asking that everyone in the building, including all campers and athletes, wear masks before, during and after their practice/class/camp/etc. Counselors will be giving 15 minute “mask breaks” every hour and a half for all campers. Campers will NOT be asked to wear masks during outside play time. Because our outside play time has been such a hit, we will be increasing it throughout the day (weather permitting).

You must pre-register for Camp as we will not be accepting walk-ins at this time. Camp will run normally with the following exceptions:

  • Campers will be asked to bring a lunch as our Cosmic Cafe will remain closed.
  • Campers are asked to bring enough water to last the day as water fountains have been turned off.
  • There will be no Field Trips (trips to the park will resume once opened).

We are now offering Before Care (8am-9am) and After Care (4pm-5:30pm)!

Please register for Before Care and After Care by noon the Friday before the camp week starts. Before Care and After Care will be capped at 20 campers.

Payment will be processed in full upon submitted registration.

Payment will be processed in full upon submitted registration.

What is Pajama Party Friday?

Every Friday for our Summer Camp Program campers get to wear their pajamas all day!! Children will participate in Open Gym, games, arts and crafts, and more!  We will continue to host our traditional Friday Pajama Movie Day, however we will NOT be providing pizza at this time.  Besides our regular camp snacks we will offering individual wrapped/packaged popcorn.  All groups will be watching the same movie in their respective camp rooms. Pajama Movie days are a great way for children to unwind and relax after an action-packed week of camp!

What should my child wear?

Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing each day. We will be participating in activities indoors and outdoors on a daily basis. While in the building, children usually do not wear shoes. While out of the building, it is important for children to wear athletic shoes so he/she can walk comfortably and participate in outdoors sports and games! Please make sure your child wears athletic shoes every day or has a pair of athletic shoes to keep in his/her cubby to use when needed.

Campers will not be asked to wear masks during homeroom time or open time, however face mask will need to be worn to enter/exit the building and walking through the hallways.  Masks are required for all counselors and building staff.

What should my child bring every day?

Each child will be pick a cubby when they arrive at Flying High. This cubby will belong to the child for the entire time he/she is at camp. Children should keep a bottle of sunscreen and a change of clothes (just in case!) in their cubby at all times. Children should bring enough water to last the day as water fountains have been turned off.  Campers are also asked to bring a lunch as the Cosmic Cafe will remain closed.  A snack will be provided by Flying High each day (individual bags).

Campers will not be asked to wear masks during homeroom time or open time, however face mask will need to be worn to enter/exit the building and walking through the hallways.  Masks are required for all counselors and building staff.

What if my child needs to take medication?

If your child needs to take medication during camp hours, a parent/legal guardian will need to fill out a Medication Permission Form. Please email Erica, our Camp Director, for this form.

What if someone else will be picking my child up from camp?

Please notify the staff and fill out the “Camper Authorization Release Form”. You may tell a staff member in person at drop off or email Erica, our Camp Director. Children will not be released to an unauthorized pick-up person. A photo I.D. may be required.

What if I am running late to pick up my child up from camp?

Please email Erica, our Camp Director, so she is aware of the situation. We will keep your child in our care until you arrive (see Parent Handbook for exceptions). Based on the situation, you may be charged a fee for the extra time.

I reached out to the Front Desk but did not get a response back. Why is the Front Desk not answering?

Our office hours are M-Th 3:30pm until 8pm and Saturday 9am until 12:30pm. Please leave a message and we will return your call by the next business day. Thank you!
