A step-by-step guide for the BIG DAY!
After last year’s event, surveys were passed out to all willing participants. We gathered information on what you liked and what you didn’t like. We have re-shaped this year’s events based on those survey results. Here are some of the changes you will see!
Flying High appreciates those who took the time to fill out our survey. By doing so they are helping us ensure that we are hosting the best event possible!

When Does My Child “compete”?
Your child will receive a tentative schedule four weeks prior to the event. After all registrants have been added, a confirmation note with your child’s compete time will be handed out in class. (if you have any conflicts with the time, please see our front desk! They will be more than happy to help you!)
Is my child too young to participate?
Absolutely not! If they are enrolled in a class here, they’ve got what it takes!
Can I bring a cheering section?
Please do! We run this event so our students can “show off” what they’ve learned! We bring in tons of extra seating! The more the merrier! Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, neighbors, friends, teachers...we’ve had them all!
What is the cost?
$30 per star (includes 2 free admission tickets).
When will my child learn his/her routine? Your child will begin to learn his/her routine shortly after our Holiday break.
My child cannot make the event. Will he/she still learn a routine?
Yes! Even if your child cannot participate in this year’s Winter Showcase, routines are great to learn! It will help them piece together skills they already know, motivate them to learn new ones, and get a feel for what is necessary in the “competitive” arena.
Do you offer any “extra classes” to help my star perfect his/her routine?
Yes! Keep you eyes peeled for “Winter Showcase Extra Classes.” They will be held throughout January and February!
What should my child wear?
Refer to “Program Specific Info” for exact uniform. But remember, this is your athlete’s big day! Many of our stars do their hair and wear their best outfit!
